Keith Scott

Managing Partner

After earning three degrees in Arts, Science, and Business Administration from The Pennsylvania State University, Keith Scott began his extensive career in Information Technology by working at various software and hardware companies. He was then selected to take on a strategic role in General Electric’s Information Technology Services branch as the Director of Software Sales. During his career at General Electric (GE), Mr. Scott went on to earn the distinction of Regional Sales Blackbelt after completing the illustrious Six Sigma Certification. Mr. Scott oversaw a $80 million dollar territory and was responsible for all of GE’s software maintenance as part of the BSA’s Software Alliance Program (designed to keep companies honest on their annual license consumption). Mr. Scott was then recruited to head up a commercial unit of RR Donnelly to deliver software to government contractors such as BDM, TRW, Martin Marietta, and GE.
Mr. Scott has always been recognized for his strong interpersonal, relationship building, and sales leadership. He thrives in using these skills, he successfully led many teams to success in roles with Stream International, Cognos Corporation and Business Objects. Mr. Scott has always had a knack for thriving in sales and sales leadership.

In 2005, Mr. Scott decided to take on the challenge of launching his own firm, Diverse Systems Group (DSG) since entrepreneurship has always been an underlying driver since his first paper route, to take on the challenge of launching his own firm, Diverse Systems Group (DSG). DSG has enjoyed a rise within the Information Technology Government Contracting space, entering its 18th year with clients that tenure 15 plus years. DSG is a minority-owned government contractor with expertise in the information technology field. DSG specializes in health information management with contracts in the Department of Defense.

Diverse Systems Group actively promotes a one team approach that is derived from a servant leadership mentality. The firm’s corporate executive mentality is to support, inspire, and empower the workforce to achieve the highest level of performance. We communicate honestly, creating an open, transparent, and trust-based environment. DSG is committed to the growth and development of it’s people and clients.

DSG provides Program Management, Business Intelligence and Cyber Security solutions as a specialty. Along the way, Mr. Scott started to dabble in remodeling, rehabilitating, and flipping homes to the tune of $5 million in value. Mr. Scott worked prior with his family learning the real estate trade and passed his real estate licensure and brokerage exams. His exceptional leadership, project management, implementation of both short & long-term goals, alongside developing successful business models culminated the foundation of the 10 thriving companies that cross multiple platforms from information technology to real estate and investment groups. He continues to demonstrate leadership through mentoring others for success, obtaining new certifications, and implementing business techniques that will drive results with the continued velocity that James has delivered during his entire career.

Mr. Scott and Mr. Dycus had a 15-year relationship and came to realize that they had similar interests in real estate and decided to collaborate and form a new firm – NG2 Group – which owns NG2 and NG2 Puerto Rico. The result is a group of investments in large-scale projects to provide residential housing for many of its clients.

Mr. Scott attended The Pennsylvania State University and earned three degrees in Arts, Science and Business Administration. Mr. Scott also pursued a master’s degree from Dartmouth in Business Administration. He is excited to join forces with Mr. Dycus whom also exhibiting a prowess for the real estate development and investment arena, forming an indominable partnership poised for success and positive change.

James T. Dycus

Managing Partner

James Dycus began his career with serving in the United States Army. He committed 20 years of active-duty before retiring at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. It was during these years that he demonstrated the leadership, innovation, and ground-breaking strategies that would lay the foundation, not only for a DoD software program that would streamline and improve technology for the military, but also for the building blocks of the entrepreneur that he was to become.

James established a strong name for himself within the military and information technology community which bridged to his next level of endeavors. His reputation for building relationships, strategic planning, implementation of innovative business techniques, and blending collaboration with mentoring of others have all been integrated to generate success across the multiple platforms of his entrepreneurism involvement.

James’ resounding military and business qualifications consist of graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Studies and over 30 years of professional experience dedicated to Federal Information Management & Technology Services. In addition, he served as Deputy Chief Information Officer in the Government/Federal Service level and is now the owner of 10 successful businesses where he serves such roles as President and CEO, has the certification of a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, 8-a Disadvantaged Small Business, and Certified Veteran Administrations VIP CVE.

James’ business acumen includes shattering performance goals, driving radical financial growth, and building the infrastructure of a multimillion-dollar enterprise that would be facilitated through his career of building alliances. His exceptional leadership, project management, implementation of both short & long-term goals, alongside developing successful business models culminated the foundation of the 10 thriving companies that cross multiple platforms from information technology to real estate and investment groups.
